• ABOUT ME

After graduating in 1998 I joined the BBC as a trainee Studio Manager (radio studio sound mixer) with World Service radio in London.

In 2001 I transferred to BBC television news, and then in 2002 I transferred again to 'main block' studios at BBC Television Centre as a Gram Op.

In 2008 I was promoted to Sound Supervisor and I remained a member of BBC staff until going freelance in 2015.

I have experience of many programme genres and styles, and have worked on productions both big and small, in studios and on location. See my credits.

More recently I have expanded my work to include dubbing, and I now own and run a fully equipped Pro Tools TV dubbing suite.

I'm experienced in mixing live-to-air music.

I've won two Craft BAFTAs : in 2013 as lead Sound Supervisor for BBC Sport's coverage of the London 2012 Olympic Games, and in 2023 for my work on The State Funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II.

I'm a member of the Institute of Professional Sound executive committee.
